Job
Description :
Must
have work Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology and
ICD-9-CM, advanced medical terminologies, pharmacology.
Should
have been followed accepted coding principles to assign all diagnoses Codes for
inpatient or Out Patient records utilizing ICD-9 Text Book.
Exposure
in HCC Coding like MDX, NAAM CA &
MMM with part C & Part D Coding.
Coding
by using CPT, ICD-9 Cm codes, HCPCS codes based on HIPPA for procedures with
appending appropriate modifiers.
Extreme
knowledge with regard to medical coding guidelines and coding techniques
(ICD-9, CPT-4, HCPCS and DRGs.
Should
be able to assign ICD-9-CM or CPT-4 codes and sequence diagnosis and procedures
per patient medical record.
Should
be able to review and abstract relevant clinical data/ medical records to
select and sequence the appropriate ICD-9 CM diagnosis.
Should
have hand on experience with coding medical records with ICD-9, CPT-4, and
HCPCS level II coding.
Should
have utilized PUTTY,CITRIX, CODERYTE and ENCODER PROBE software and input
information into computerized patient record system.
